Pay Rate: EURO 300–400/Day

Role Overview

Client is seeking a Data Transmission Network Operator to join its Data Transport Network Operations Center (NOC). The role focuses on monitoring, operating, and maintaining clients datacom network to ensure high availability, fast incident resolution, and efficient planning of maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of all Datacom platforms
• Analyze, resolve, and escalate network incidents in collaboration with architects, product owners, and external partners
• Communicate with stakeholders during incidents, technical issues, and planned maintenance
• Support daily operations, planning activities, and project-related requests
• Perform administrative tasks and maintain technical documentation
• Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the team

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, ICT, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience
• Strong hands-on knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, including SDH, DWDM, IP/MPLS, and VoIP
• Experience in Helpdesk or Network Operations is an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle urgent operational issues
• Flexible, stress-resistant, and eager to continuously learn

Language Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch or French
• Good knowledge of the other national language
• Good working knowledge of English (mandatory)
